When we hosted our murder mystery party, one of our guests brought a bottle of sparkling wine as a hostess gift.  I was excited to give it a try as it was one I hadn’t seen before.  As we head into spring and the beginning of brunch season, this was the perfect time for me to check out a new bubbly.

Taralyn Brut is a California sparkling wine with a very clean taste….and look – it is gorgeous in a glass!  With this being a Brut, it is a dry bubbly (one of my faves) and very friendly to pair with food.  This particular sparkling offers some light, fruity notes such as citrus and peach.

The back of the bottle reads, “Taralyn’s Gaelic translation: Star on the Hill – inspired this perfect glass of sparkling, reminiscent of a brilliant starry night.”  I love that!

Serving this at a brunch this spring will make both you and your guests happy…and coming in at a price point between $11-$13 per bottle, you can’t go wrong.
